For the salad:

  •  2 corn ears shucked
  •  1 medium red-orange, or yellow bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch wide strips
  •  Olive oil for brushing
  •  1-pint cherry or grape tomatoes halved
  •  1/2 English cucumber cut into half-moons
  •  5 radishes thinly sliced
  •  1/4 cup feta cheese, queso fresco, or grated
  •  1/2 cup coarsely chopped herbs such as cilantro chives, basil, or mint
  •  Kosher salt and pepper to taste
