Recommended to accelerate the cooking of legumes and make them more digestible. Royal Kombu alkalizes foods, neutralizes the acidity of tomato sauce, and acts as a flavor enhancer.
Royal Kombu is rich in:
- Alginic acid, an intestinal purifier;
- Proteins (14% of its dry matter);
- Calcium (8 times more than milk);
- Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Iron (5 times more than spinach), Bromine, and Zinc;
Ideal for miso soups, cooking with legumes, stews, pasta, rice, and in pies and quiches.
5 g of dehydrated seaweed can be equivalent to up to 50 g of fresh seaweed. Seaweeds are naturally rich in iodine and salty.
