Sea Bean
Sea Bean, harvested from Graciosa Island, Azores. Whole and dehydrated.
With a strongly iodized flavor and firm texture, it can be used for seasoning or adding texture. Rich in fiber, it is known and recommended for its satiating power.
It can be reduced to flour, broken into flakes in its dehydrated form, or rehydrated for 5 minutes.
Ideal for infusions, adding to stews, soufflés, quiches, soups, and bread.
5 g of dehydrated seaweed can be equivalent to up to 50 g of fresh seaweed.
This dehydrated seaweed is rich in:
- Proteins;
- Fiber;
- Iodine;
- Vitamin B12;
- Magnesium;
Seaweeds are naturally rich in iodine and salty.
